Voices 12/1/09 | STUDIO PROGRESS AND A NEW SHOW!
Hello, again! Lots of news here at the station. First off, the event for the 21st has been postponed. While the studio is 85% completed, construction has been put on an indefinite hiatus. Unfortunately, I can say no more about it. That being said, past students are welcomed to come say hello on the 21st and see how far we've come along!
On a happier note, the first episode of our new show, 'Superband', which follows the ins and outs of the band program at Central High School, will be airing in the coming weeks. The show was put together completely be Central Independent Study and Extended Learning Opportunity Students. Us staff have enjoyed working with the kids- teaching them about media arts and learning about what they do at the same time!

10/26/09 | THE NEW WEBSITE IS UP AND THE STUDIO IS ALMOST COMPLETED We're very excited and pleased to announce the launch of our new website. While it will likely take some getting used to if you've been visiting us over the years, we think you'll get the hang of it and be very pleased with the new features. Thanks to Silvertech for all their hard work in getting this up and running.In other news, the Studio Renovations on the fourth floor are nearing completion.
As a staff, we are thrilled to finally have a place with a proper control room, lighting grid, and sound proofing to shoot our in-house programming. Interns are excited to learn the ins and outs of a studio production. Show hosts and guests are eager to get their shows produced in a state-of-the-art facility and start putting out programming again. The studio unveiling will be held on December 21st from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and we sincerely hope to see all of you there.Thanks so much. -Dan MCTv
