The last pieces of equipment are being moved from the Manchester School of Technology to the new MCTV location at 1045 Elm St. The transmission equipment is the last part of this move. This means that both Channels 16 and 22 programming will not be seen as usual over the next two weeks. We will continue to run the electronic bulletin board and show live meetings and events from our live locations throughout the City. Many weekly shows that you are use to watching will not be seen at their normal time slot until the transmission equipment is hooked up to the new Comcast line that needs to be installed at 1045 Elm St.

Thursday night the Planning Board meeting from the Aldermanic Chambers will be live on Channel 22.

Other live meetings this week are the Committee on Joint School Buildings and the Committee on Community Improvement Monday evening. Tuesday evening, the Committee on Accounts, Enrollment and Revenue Administration, the Committee on Administration/Information Systems, and the Board of Mayor and Aldermen are all live on Channel 22. Wednesday evening, a Special Meeting Board of Mayor and Aldermen in Joint Session with the Board of School Committee will meet followed by a Special Board of School Committee Meeting, both will be live. Also taped in City Hall will be the Master Plan Steering Committee Wednesday evening that will be shown on Channel 22.

We will try our best to show these meetings over the weekend if the technology change permits. If not, we will re-play them all next week.

The Board of School Finance Committee held a meeting Monday evening. On Wednesday evening, the Board of School Athletic Committee will meet. Both of these meetings will be shown over the next week on MCTV.

The Annual Middle School Oratorical Contest will take place Thursday at Memorial High School. Watch for the contest on MCTV over the next two weeks.
